Christmas Party Night












Fellow Toastmasters,

Our Christmas party this year takes place in Markree Castle on Wednesday the 14th of December at 8pm. 






There will be a mulled wine reception , Buffet, games and spot prizes, tea & coffee, a raffle and good craic. You are most welcome to bring along partners and friends. 












Tickets are €15 each and will be on sale at this Wednesdays meeting, so please bring along your money on the night. 
There will also be a minibus return service available leaving the town-hall taxi rank on the night. 




For those of you that can't make the Innisfree club regular toastmaster meeting  this Wednesday 30th November at the Sligo Park Hotel , but would like to attend the Christmas Party, please contact Cathal and we can reserve your tickets. Hope to see you all on Wednesday,

Innisfree Toastmasters open night Ballymote 16th Nov 2011

This will be the first of our open nights which will be held in the 'Coach House Hotel' in Ballymote on Wednesday the 16th of November. All guests are extremely welcome. Please come along and bring a friend for whats sure to be a great night.



Evaluation Workshop.


  • If you want to improve your evaluation and feedback skills, this will be a wonderful opportunity. 
  • The workshop takes place in the Glasshouse Hotel on Monday the 14th of November at 8:30pm
  • Sligo toastmasters have organized an experienced and distinguished toastmaster, Mary Tolbot, to host the workshop.
  • Both Sligo and Innisfree toastmasters will provide speakers and evaluators for the night and we would welcome any clubs in the area to come along and avail of this wonderful opportunity.
  •  As always, guests and people with an interest in public speaking are welcome to attend.

Maeve McCormack from the Sligo Toastmaster Club gave an energetic speech entitled "Run". Appropriately togged out in her running attire. Maeve humorously recalls the highs and lows of competing in various running competitions. Including her toughest run to date the challenging Warriors Run.
